Emergency response
Use for falls, fainting, possible stroke, severe pain, breathing trouble, confusion, bleeding, collapse or rapidly worsening illness.
Forgotten medicines
Ask whether there is an airport pharmacy and whether it can dispense medicines. Some airport pharmacies sell only retail and over-the-counter items, or need a local prescription.
Get escorted
If walking is hard, ask for wheelchair assistance to the clinic or pharmacy rather than trying to find it alone.
Vaccines and tablets
For last-minute vaccines, malaria tablets, replacement prescriptions or new symptoms before a trip, search the destination city for travel medicine clinics as well as the airport.
